On the one hand he got banned from Hexbear so he's probably a good guy, but on the other hand he was a mod on Hexbear so he must be a right wing dipshit.

Hexbear users aren't trolls and their personas aren't leftist. They're literally just reactionary conservatives claiming that reactionary conservative positions are left wing. Watch them defend capitalist Russia as though the Berlin Wall never fell, watch them deny genocide of Uyghurs, watch them say not to vote so that Trump can win the presidency and bomb the west bank. Then watch them call their capitalist, genocidal, zionist positions left wing.
I don't think they're being dishonest about the content of their political views, I think their reactionary, borderline fascist positions are entirely genuine.
And also, there's nobody to the left of a soulist like me. http://soulism.net. If there were, I'd agree with them.
That's right, the explicitly non-sectarian left unity instance with a supermajority of non-cishet users that aggressively bans transphobia, homophobia, racism, antisemitism, ableism and other bigotry is actually full of reactionary right wing fascists. What a sober analysis.
