As lazy as it sounds, once your thing allows other things to fit in a van, having stuff delivered to your home has a smaller footprint than everyone collecting them in their own cars.

Unless, of course, you can take it home on your bike, or something.

There was a point where this would have been me. I'm now at a point where I'm like, fuck that, what does it cost for someone else to do it.

I'm in the middle where I'll weigh the time and effort against the additional cost, but the older I get the more I value my time and effort. Not just with shipping either; if product A is cheaper than product B, but requires more time and effort to configure, I'm paying a bit more to have something that works out of the box.
