Honestly, I wouldn't get any Dyson for pet hair. Shark has better offerings for it.

I have a TruePet, which has been absolutely amazing at cleaning up the ocean of husky fluff my sibe leaves everywhere.

I've owned a few Dysons in the past and was not all that impressed with them. When the last one died I ended up replacing it with a shark stratos, and I love it.

Damp rag for dusting and a broom and a mop. BOOM...lotsa money saved!

How does that work if you have carpet? What about stuff like a couch?

Avoid Dyson honestly. I've owned one of their stick vacs (and seen others).

They are overpriced pieces of junk in my opinion. Terrible filter designs, creaky and wobbly all over. Some of the worst build quality compared to the price of the devices.

This opinion is coming from someone who understands the engineering of how to make tools and devices of a high build quality. I've held dirt cheap no-name drills that had a higher build quality than those overpriced vacuums.
