Bro is a nuclear safety inspector. That's not exactly a blue collar job.

Still can. Just not that house. If you consider roof and structurally sound floor boards to be optional extras then you could easily do it! At least in some parts of the country. If it's London you will want a couple million.
Can confirm, my house has the bare minimum number of windows just to meet building code.
No basement, just a tiny studio above a garage, entered from a sketchy alley. Graffiti on the exterior already included.
