Grab the menu and point at the item you want. This also helps when you are abroad and can't pronounce what you want (I legit had to go to the front of the shop in Japan to point at the dish in the window, they often have wax recreations of each dish)
So glad I'm not a coffee zombie, and can go to someplace that doesn't force me to use corpospeak
