I got a sleeve gastrectomy.
I’ve been obese all my life. And nothing I ever did to lose any weight stuck.
The hunger always came back.
Now I got most of my stomach removed, and I hope to be able to participate in normal life soon.

I’ll be in pain for a while, but I am soooooo excited to be able to actually start my life now.

I’m sure you already know this, but now you need to be SUPER deliberate about your food choices. You have a very limited ability to take in food, so that needs to be packed full of good stuff.

Good luck, we’re all counting on you.

Thanks. Yeah I was educated on how to eat post op and it is brutal. But i’d rather fight thru this than be stuck in an infinite yoyo loop of weight loss and gain.

This was the only thing that worked for my wife's dad. Bro lost like 250lbs.

I hope you get the results you're after and the new habits to make it work.

Congratulations, I hope your recovery goes well!

Best of luck. What helped me the most was learning to distinguish between hunger, boredom, and cravings.

Congrats on your size transition! I hope you find being small very gender affirming!
