Welcome to TheSimpsons, a community for discussing everything related to America's non-prehistoric cartoon family, The Simpsons!

Right about now, you're probably saying, "Troy, basically every post starts with 'Guess the Episode', is that all this community is?"

To which I say you've got some attitude, mister.

Guess the Episode "Rules"

These "Rules" aren't real, so if you think of something clever, do that instead.

"Please do not attempt sex. As years of exposure to TV radiation have left your genitals shrivelled and useless."

Well, I'll be damned.

I don't know the episode, but the joke is about the TV broadcast experiencing difficulties. The broadcast warns against any sexual interactions to pass time because years of TV radiation shriveled up their genitals.

I've waited months to collected one of these points! Let's hope I'm right.

iirc, this image (and that joke) are from the 2 Dozen and One Greyhounds episode. Santa's Little Helper had pulled the cable to the neighborhood.

And that's the episode! Correct!

[–] MimicJar@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

That's the joke!

So it was the dog that buried our stuff.

I'm taking a swing here but I'm gonna say it's the episode Homer's Barbershop Quartet. I think this is when Chief Wiggum is watching all the talk show hosts make fun of his attempt at a solo career after getting kicked out of The Be Sharps.

Sadly no, Wiggum has little to do with this episode. This is just a random cutaway.
