Down here in dullardville they said it meant "After Christ Devil Comes" when I was a kid. I had never heard of them and gave them a try. Funny, that I found out about one of my lifelong favorite bands because useless god bothers made up some stupid shit about them.

There is a band called ACxDC and that stands for Antichrist Demoncore.

The only songs they've done even relevant to their name is Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap) and T.N.T. Specifically the lines that say "HIGH VOLTAGE!", "I'm a powerload" and "I'm a livewire"

It was "Knights in Satan's Service" in my youth.

I'd argue it never truly ended and was the birth of the modern "culture war".
Honestly if you look at the 90s through 2000s people were claiming the same stuff about pokemon and Harry Potter.
