Rules: (interactive)

1) Be nice and; have funDoxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

2) All posts must end with a '?'This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?

4) NSFW is okay, within reasonJust remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com. NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].

5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions. If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.

6) No US Politics.

The community from the old place is pretty active, I wish more of them would flow over here.

I think the top post here has a few hundred upvotes, and the average upvote count is ~20, but people gonna go where they feel they will get the most engagement.

lemmy.mindoki.com/c/aip Art In Progress.

Because it's mine and it's empty now as I had to wipe my lemmy server (it never worked OK, super sluggish, the federation was skipping more and more, and the database was over 10GB).

I'll try to make it live again :-)

Edit: !aip@lemmy.mindoki.com thanks brb!

The whole thing tbh, no one bothers posting, including the mods. Things like news being days and days behind. People posting communites on this thread they want to be more active on here, but the subs are empty. Get posting.

Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest. Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest. Lord, we lift up your name, with hearts full of praise. Be exalted, O Lord my God; hosanna in the highest.

Apes Together Strong[1]

As long as one person is active in the community, it still lives for another day.

“Anyone who thinks that they are too small to make a difference has never tried to fall asleep with a mosquito in the room.” — The Dalai Lama

"We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say it’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem, then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes." — Fred Rogers

“I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.” ― Edward Everett Hale
