Particles of light cannot be divided into smaller particles, but if you try to snip off the end of one, instead of shortening it multiplies

Isn't this basic quantum physics? Narrow down the position, increase momentum, increase energy, make extra photon.

After reading the article: ah, it's about them confirming this experimentally. Cool that they got the shutter to go that fast.
