Do people consider 3d metroidvanias a real thing now? I was under the impression that games like this and metroid prime were considered zelda-likes with platforming mechanics

🤷🏼‍♂️ I hadn’t heard that. Not as common, but still counts in a lot of people’s eyes. Beyond the last Metroid Prime, the last big ones I remember hearing about were Control or Jedi: Survivor
