Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued Discord on Friday.
This push for digital-ID isn't a nebulous thing... It's being pushed by individual politicians that need to be removed.
And if James Talarico doesn’t manage become the first Democrat to win a US senate seat in Texas since 1988, then that will be Senator Ken Paxton getting to smear his particular brand of shit on the rest of the country, too.
California and Colorado are at least doing something about FOSS being exempt for digital ID.
Otherwise, this isn't even necessary in the first place.

IMO all this draconian legislation is a blessing in disguise. Americans are waking up and smelling the autocracy that until now has been hiding in plain sight.
