I hope she feels just 1% of the pain, stress and uncertainty her actions unleashed on the world. Just 1%

[–] RedWeasel@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago

Boy, are you optimistic.

That is simply a manifestation of what she is.

God... you sonobabich. You know you still screwed up yet again. At least you're getting warmer. Amen. Please don't screw me over. I know I'm a gonner too, but let's not focus on me. C'mon. You're supposed to have like a master plan or something!

Here's hoping she goes with the Steve Jobs method of cancer treatment.

Damn… I feel really bad for cancer. But she shouldn’t let it get her down… I mean, has she seen the recent Dow numbers?

[–] HumanOnEarth@lemmy.ca 4 points 6 days ago

Oof direct hit

So bad shit does happen to horrible people? That's a first.

[–] artyom@piefed.social 9 points 1 week ago

Unfortunately only after they've committed unfathomable atrocities.

Is it the kind of cancer that kills or the kind that gets her speaking gigs?

Edit: thyroid cancer. Expect her to announce tour dates.

[–] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 23 points 1 week ago

Well now I feel bad for the cancer.

[–] fonix232@fedia.io 23 points 1 week ago

what are the chances of this being untrue and just a grasp at sympathy attention to keep herself relevant?

I really think we're gonna see a lot of cancer from this group (especially for the women) and it's gonna be because of some weird anti-aging treatment.

Like with all the peptides, semiglutides, and other shit that isn't being regulated at all...

There's a pretty good chance there's some treatment that's supposed to encourage cell divisions to fight the effects of aging, and it's gonna cause cancer.

Pre-emptive edit:

I checked first,

https://www.sciencealert.com/popular-anti-aging-supplement-may-fuel-cancer-growth-heres-why

Polyamines.

I'd bet money they're all on polyamines.

I think you're right. The eagerness of people to ingest the latest unregulated fad of the moment never ceases to amaze me. I know people who are popping tons of peptide shit, and it's 'fine' because "it's all amino acids". Strong "it's got electrolytes!" Idiocracy vibes.

The problem is, people take these unregulated supplements and then "feel amazing". Their energy and focus levels increase. But they don't think about the side effects.

You know how I got my energy and focus levels up? By cutting back on processed food and sugars, drinking more water, focusing on my gut health, exercising a bit more, and finding ways of reducing stress levels. Not easy, but it works. And no snake oil supplements (or their side effects) required.

I know people who are popping tons of peptide shit, and it’s ‘fine’ because “it’s all amino acids”.

"Peptide" is just such a general term, like insulin is a fucking peptide, lots of things are peptides

A lot of what people are taking, are legit roids, even if they are also peptides.

The problem is, people take these unregulated supplements and then “feel amazing”. Their energy and focus levels increase. But they don’t think about the side effects.

Yep, crack makes you feel amazing too, feeling amazing is honestly usually a bad thing.

no snake oil supplements

Bro...

The dangerous part about this shit is it's not snake oil. Snake oil was largely inert, they might be cocaine or morphine in it, but it was in everything back then.

People are taking serious drugs that do serious things, with no medical professionals involved, their just ordering this shit off the Internet on their own

[–] ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Yeah, I mean 'snake oil' as a term for bullshit/fake. But fair point about his this shit is a lot not dangerous than real snake oil.

My cup overfloweth lately. I have not had my fill, not even close.

[–] Montagge@lemmy.zip 15 points 1 week ago

Damn shame she won't get the typucal American healthcare experience. Are you even a real American if you haven't divorced your spouse to prevent losing the house to medical debt?

[–] volore@scribe.disroot.org 14 points 1 week ago
[–] lmdnw@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

I know she’ll likely beat it, but damn if I don’t hope and wish that it kills her painfully.

[–] santa@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 week ago

Maybe a vaccine would help if we put more money into finding how to cure it rather than decimating all the wokes. Oh well.

He needs something much quicker, like a massive stroke, or acute lead poisoning

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Pretty sure he's got both and it ain't working.

No reason to trust anything said by a liar. Just another lie, zero sympathy for Nazis

[–] geekwithsoul@piefed.social 5 points 1 week ago

I'm usually all about "Fuck Cancer!" but I think in this case it can have Bondi …as a treat.

See?! Even her own body hates her.

Hope she wasn't banking on using her looks to further her career any more, cancer treatments age the fuck out of people.
