note: the 1x1 brick with a bar on the mech's base represents a heavily armored pilot with a large weapon such as a sword. the black 'head' pieces with grey bases represent deployable ground drones. the staff-like object in the mech's right hand is a sheathed sword. the protrusions on the lower backpack are maneuvering/jump thrusters, inspired by the spacesuits in the gundam series. the radio in the mechs left hand is a standalone drone printer and control system.

I don't know if you already know about it, but you might be interested in Mobile Frame Zero: Rapid Attack

It's a simple and free wargame ruleset which allows for creative use of LEGO for Mecha skirmishes!

i actually have the rulebook downloaded and i have a wishlist on bricklink for the 'garage' parts, it does seem really cool but i have an insatiable hunger for plastic that far outstrips my disposeable income, and haven't gotten around to getting parts for it yet.

this mech i originally planned to use for the LANCER ttrpg but i don't really have enough terrain for that to be feasible, even at this small scale (using 4x4 stud squares as 1 'space'). over the last year or so i've been rebuilding and restoring older sets i have which has used up most of my supply of spare parts.
