Wow. To capture such a sharp picture given the speed at which a hummingbird flaps its wings, must have required a very short exposure time. Further confirmed by the sun looking like it does from Mars.
There are currently four of these gorgeous little divas fighting over the desert willow tree I planted in the front yard. They make me laugh as they fly past screaming at each other.
I bet it's structural color.
Feathers often are.
Too pretty needs to be killed or patented so that beauty can make someone a profit this being free is disgusting
