Eggs were ¢89/dozen for a long, long time before covid. Spiked up to around $5.50/dozen, now around $1.80/dozen.
So, kinda? The trumpers preach about how cheap groceries are now, but their memories are shot, and they aggressively avoid math. Everyone acts like everything's OK, but the staple foods are still 2x to 3x from pre-covid, but hey, I can get a 75" TV for $500, so I guess it's all good. Housing is fucked tho.

Not where I reside. They've dropped considerably from their "Bird Flu" highs.
I just checked. I can get a dozen for under $2.
Man, even my "free" eggs are expensive because feeding the chickens ain't cheap either
chickens will eat anything. bugs, worms, decaying corpses of your enemies, the fall of democracy, christofascists, seeds, apple peels, other chickens, etc.
I have personally seen all but one of those happen.

A flat of 60 is $8 where I live (one of the highest CoL areas in the country) so nah, they're pretty much back to where they were.
Not where I am. A dozen is back down to under $2. They were around $7 at one point.
