Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

Would try it

Reese's flavored Oreo flavored Reese's were pretty mid. Reese's flavored Oreo flavored Reese's flavored Oreos are pretty fire tho.

Science has gone too far.

Both are really nasty too.

[–] CultLeader4Hire@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

I’ve only had the half Reese’s half cookies and cream Oreo cups and yeah, gross.

Lies. Lies and slander.

[–] Postmortal_Pop@lemmy.world 8 points 10 hours ago

Hypothetically, eating both at the same time should taste the same as eating both an Oreo and a Reese's at the same time.

Please test this and report your findings.

This is why everyone is fat

I tried the peanut butter cups once. They're quite nice, a little too sweet, and they could use better quality chocolate and peanut butter. Particularly the peanut butter was kind of meh.

Tried oreos once too, and they just tasted like sweet cardboard to me. Mixing the two together sounds nasty.

Americans don't know good cookies.

[–] brbposting@sh.itjust.works 1 points 7 hours ago

We do, though a single one costs as much as the entire package of “cookies” in the picture (unless baked right at home!)

I'm digging the Reese's flavored Oreos, but the Oreo-flavored Reese's just look gross.

[–] hydrashok@sh.itjust.works 6 points 12 hours ago

Yes, but have you tried Reese’s Oreo-flavored Reese’s? I could swear I was eating Reese’s Oreos!

yin and yang of diabetes

The Reeses oreo creme tasted the same as what's in a Nutter Butter. Nothing like a Reeses. Very disappointing.

[–] early_riser@lemmy.world 5 points 12 hours ago

That was my impression as well. They're not bad IMO but they don't deliver what they promise.

I like that half of the comments are saying that both of these are an affront to god, and the other half are reviewing the taste

Edit: afront to affront. Both words, different meanings. TIL.

[–] Proprietary_Blend@lemmy.world 1 points 46 minutes ago

And the other half blaming these items for obesity and it's maladies.

[–] BCsven@lemmy.ca 1 points 10 hours ago

This changes the whole you got chocolate in my peanut butter commercial

[–] Depress_Mode@lemmy.world 3 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

"You got Reese's in my Oreos!"

Not sure if you're aware and just adding on, but it's originally from a classic Reese's ad. These products add a whole new layer, so one might respond "You got Oreos in my Reese's!"

[–] Zahille7@lemmy.world 2 points 12 hours ago

The Oreo Reese's (the cups, not the cookies) are actually pretty good

[–] Godnroc@lemmy.world 2 points 13 hours ago

I had those, thought they were mediocre, but the family liked them.

Worst one I found was Oreo flavored cookies, which is to say cookies and cream flavored cookies.

[–] Protoknuckles@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago

I've found so many of the oreo flavored peanut butter cups and so few of the Reeses flavored cookies, which sound much better.
