All things green, outdoors, and nature-y. Whether it's animals in their natural habitat, hiking trails and mountains, or planting a little garden for yourself (and everything in between), you can talk about it here.
See also our Environment community, which is focused on weather, climate, climate change, and stuff like that.
(It's not mandatory, but we also encourage providing a description of your image(s) for accessibility purposes! See here for a more detailed explanation and advice on how best to do this.)

Very cool! Since we moved recently I only have one Aloe Vera plant, but I’m hoping to get more. Fingers crossed more plants doesn’t equal more mosquitos.
Planting the garden is well underway, we added a bunch of new beds this year. We've been building tomato cages out of last year's sunflower stalks, you can see a partially constructed one on the right. The cucumbers in the center will get something more conventional with metal stakes and netting.
I also just acquired a spicebush, which I'm very excited to put in the ground! Just gotta figure out the right location.
Haven't really had a garden of my own before so starting small with a little patch I've cleared out and added some compost into. So far I've put in a few beets which I started indoors, and planted some Broccoli seeds. Also planning to clear out an area of grass and replace it with wildflowers. Why mow?
