That's how you know it's a KDE app.

[–] markz@suppo.fi 22 points 6 days ago (1 children)

G for old gtk app would be funnier.

The glitoris is vajazzled so you can find it

[–] elucubra@sopuli.xyz 4 points 4 days ago

Not to be confused with Glitoris, a Gnome app which does the exact same thing.

[–] ZombieCyborgFromOuterSpace@piefed.ca 38 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Microsoft : Teams, that has a feature called teams in which you can create discussions with your teams.

[–] elDalvini@discuss.tchncs.de 35 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Not to be confused with Teams (Classic) or Teams (work or school).

[–] kittenzrulz123@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 5 days ago

Or copilot, microsoft 365 or microsoft copilot 365

[–] varyingExpertise@feddit.org 16 points 5 days ago (1 children)

tbf, all their apps are called copilot now

[–] SirEDCaLot@lemmy.today 28 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Microsoft one would be:

Microsoft: Microsoft Copilot

[–] jol@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 2 days ago

Microsoft: Outlook Pro Colipot 360 (not related to Outlook, copilot, Office or xbox)

Could somebody help? I'm running arch with plasma, and I'm unable to find this app.

I desperately want to make some bit of code that ends up being the lynchpin of everything that comes after it and name it something so that it has the acronym of "FART." Fart on the whole industry.

You're thinking too small.

Static Hash Allocation Resource Table

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 5 points 5 days ago

Frequent access regurgitation table. Or Fast-access. Depends on whether you're doing an LRU cache or reimplementing hashmaps or whatever.

This has been an organic, AI-free brainfart. Support your local organic slop!

bro are you just mass-crossposting things from reddit or what? Those camel case titles aren't really common here, you know.

[–] MousePotatoDoesStuff@piefed.social 8 points 6 days ago (2 children)

If they are, that's good for Lemmy.

Helps with the network effect.

[–] squaresinger@lemmy.world 23 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Nope. Network effect happens if there's a network. For that you need an adequate amount of eyes per post so that people can start commenting and discussing stuff with one another.

Dump in hundreds of copy-posted memes without enlarging the user base and it does exactly the opposite of the network effect: With much more posts per viewer, the viewers are spread thin over the posts which means there are never enough people on one post to actually start a meaningful discussion in the comments.

[–] tgxn@lemmy.tgxn.net 8 points 6 days ago (1 children)

are you saying that we're not all here commenting, regardless? 😥🥹

Good point. I didn't think about that.

[–] shnizmuffin@lemmy.inbutts.lol 8 points 6 days ago (4 children)

"Network effect."

It's spam.

MacOS would probably iSwoop, no?

[–] MurrayL@lemmy.world 18 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

Not these days. Apple hasn’t launched a new product with the ‘i’ prefix since Steve Jobs was around.
