I think, with the economy being so fucked, that using copper wire is enough.

Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.
Join the matrix room for some real-time discussion.
They are filled with stuff far more valuable than gold. Ram and GPUs.
Afaik if its an AI datacenter it's not usable as consumer hardware.
Just to qualify your point some more: Vera Ruben doesn't even fit in standard racks. Its all esoteric ewaste to anyone who doesn't want to hallucinate.
I mean, you can still sell the stuff for a nice profit.
yeah but only back to the players in the AI club.
Though, stealing their shit and selling it back to them for 20c on the dollar would be hillarious.
Second time around, just take the DC hostage and ask for them to pay up to avoid you ripping it out just to buy it back.
Yes, it's the circular economy of the AI business 😉
As part of my job I have been to data centers for housed servers a few times. Even tho I just saw like 2 or 3 ppl working there, they had tight security. I had to show ID, be on a list and got a visitor lanyard. There were security cams. Also there was a gate that only let you in when the receptionist/guard buzzed you thru. They had free ear protection available. The lanyard would only let you open the heavy metal doors where your servers are and a room with some terminals I didn't need to use. No windows.
I think you would't make it to the devices before the cops arrive.
Maybe a long term infiltration strategy could work, but even if you pull it off, I doubt it's worth the hassle.
The big red key opens many doors, fed boy.
That and gasoline and matches are cheap. Just start in the generator room, where the diesel is.
I'm pretty certain 5-10 people with intent could make sure a DC gets razed.
We would be remiss to not mention ol' reliable copper
Or the security gaurd making 15 an hour willing to die for that data center
Non-nuke EMPs are cheap if you jack a local wire.
They are filled with catalytic converters.
