If you're just looking for appointment scheduling then Easy!Appointments may work. It has a self-hosted version. Note: I've not tested it, I just went searching online because I was curious.
Aside from that, there looks to be a ton of WordPress plugins you can use, though they usually have a (smallish) cost associated with them.
Easy!Appointments actually looks perfect thank you for bringing this to my attention
I didn't think to look for WordPress plugins but that's actually a pretty good idea
Probably not. This rosy app is tailored to salon stuff and honestly looks really good.
It doesn't look any more 'tailored' then any other scheduling software? There seems to be 0 salon specific features after a quick glance.
Over kill unless you already run it, but nextcloud can do appointments.
Also Im if your a Google device, your Gmail calendar may also do appointments
I had LibreBooking running for a bit as a solution to an unrelated problem (scheduling a piece of equipment), but it may also fit your use case.
I know you're looking for self-hosted, and I hope you find it. But in case you don't, the free tier of calendly might do the job. I used to use it when I was job hunting.
That's what I was thinking we might go with if we can't find anything else
I’ve not used it myself but cal.com could work for you as well. Their docs provide instructions on how to self host.
ETA: I think I actually tried this out on the individual tier for my wife, she was thinking of doing some personal training / life coaching and using this to provide appointments. I thought it was flexible enough but didn’t give it an earnest try.
FYI cal.com has recently gone closed-source "for security".
Oof.. that’s dumb. It seemed like decent software, wonder if anyone forked it prior to that
Edit: looks like there’s cal.diy on github. Not a fan of open source being a second class
Didn't cal.com only exist to be an open source version of Calendly?
I've always found them to be much better than Calendly, on several levels. Not just open-source. It's really the premiere scheduling software, I think.
