I love trans masc euphoria, I love seeing them be happy about body hair and getting stinky and their hands getting callouses.

It's weirdly comforting to know that all the things I hated are a joy to someone else.

Realizing cis guys like being masc and it isn't just an act because they're all insecure was a roadblock to being more self-accepting. Knowing trans masc people could have probably made that a lot easier to get.

The first trans person I ever spoke to in depth was a trans guy, and I walked away with that exact feeling. Like, I'd never met someone who knew what I was going through before and could understand things that I didn't even have words for. Yet at the same time, I was completely thrown by the idea that someone would find joy and authenticity in something I was yearning to be free of

It’s funny, almost all the trans folks I met irl before realizing that I was trans are trans masc. And I remember having almost that exact thought - “But you were a girl, and that’s clearly so much better than what I’m stuck with! Why would you ever want this?” Obviously, I understand now, and I’m happy and proud of them for being themselves! But good lord, how oblivious was I? Lol

Is is annoying when people have such thoughts and instead of realizing that their own hatred of their assigned gender and with to be a different gender is a red flag that they're trans are just use their hatred of their agab to be transphobic to those transitioning in that direction.

Maybe some people want to look like a sad balding chimp made out of hairy scrotum when they get old, who knows.

I'm just saying that the thought that I was going to look like an old man one day really lit a fire under my ass.
