Lets be real, cats are rather high PsyOps regarding the Cat distribution systemXD

[–] TwoBeeSan@lemmy.world 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Marathons are a psyop because improving yourself is fucking gay

[–] homes@piefed.world 2 points 1 month ago

Then I must be awesome, cause I fuck myself at least twice a day

[–] NeptuneOrbit@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago

I'd pay real (fake) money for someone to collect more of these bizarre x,y plots. Please. OP. Help me find more.

[–] JakoJakoJako13@piefed.social 14 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Clarification on Aesop please? Fables or Rock?

[–] RadioEthiopiate@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I think they mean the overpriced soap.

Aes is fucking great though.

[–] mosspiglet@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Was just listening to Spirit World Field Guide this morning. Great album.

I don't think that's the right spot for either of them tbh, I'd say Fables should be a lot further left over the "mainstream" line and Rock should be several steps further up and right

[–] JakoJakoJako13@piefed.social 4 points 1 month ago

I disagree with that Rock assessment. Is he well curated. Absolutely. The only thing mainstream about him is the genre he's working in. Psyop strength? You gotta pay too much attention to everything he does in this attention economy for him to be a Psyop. Ain't no letting the job do it's work with Rock. You gotta give him your full attention. There's a level of disconnect that a Psyop needs to work and Rock isn't allowing that. Could you skim the dictionary and learn every word your eyes touched? I don't think so.

Mr Beast's views are falling because his core demographic of 12 year old boys got older. Now they're teenage boys who think he's a loser. And their younger brothers are listening to them. So the more time passes, the more 12 year old boys think Mr Beast is a joke.

Pinterest is pretty psyop though, assuming you're not using a VPN

with a VPN all of these are hidden though

not to mention people can be punished for pins that they LIKED, not even posted

I do sometimes get high treat it like the Superbowl because the ads are SO funny

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Not sure what this is. What does it say about me if the only thing I like on the whole chart are cats.

And thats assuming we're txlking about actudl cats. Not the movie or the musical. Those suck.

You should probably check out aphex twin cuz youre missing out big time

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I remember hearing them in 1998. It was all gutteral electronic noises. Sounded like my 56K modem getting post orgasm sensitivity torture.

[–] TheIvoryTower@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

I like Aphex twin but that description is impossible to hate

[–] rabber@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Them? Are we talking about the same artist?

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No idea. I just know my sister gave me a CD she thought I would like because I had bought an Adam Sandler CD.

I did not like it.

[–] rabber@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Your description doesn't fit the music. Some of the most beautiful music ever made. Behold the best youtube comment section of all time: https://youtu.be/q86g1aop6a8

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Having listened for the first time, I think Lost_My_Mind nailed the description pretty well.

You dont like pistachios? The Odysee? Aesop? Dogs?

I see why you chose your username.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Didn't see pistachios, don't know what The Odysee is. No clue what aesop is.

And in general I don't like anything high energy, which most dogs are.

My sisters dog is very high energy, very twitchy. But when I come over, she ignores everybody else, and wants to spend time with either me, or my elderly mom. My mom puts her on the seat on her walker, so she can't run around the house.

I let her sit next to me, but I tell her "no licks". And then I put my hand on her belly, and hold her close. I can feel her heart rate slowly drop. It goes from 500 beats a second, to a more normal pace, and she calms down. If all dogs were like maisey, I would like dogs. But most dogs will speed around 24/7.

I assume they mean Homer's Odyssey and Aesop's fables; Classic Greek myths.

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

New political compass just dropped

[–] Gork@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Some gas station coffee is a strong psy op (think Buc-ees).

[–] Sylence@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Things I like from this list (in no particular order):

  • orange wine
  • dogs
  • martinis
  • rock climbing
  • the odyssey
  • letterboxd
  • aperol spritz
  • book clubs
  • candles
  • Pinterest

Seems like my psyop potential is pretty low 😕
