Who thought that the lesson they would take away from the Holocaust would be to "Pay it forward?"

[–] BigMacHole@thelemmy.club 20 points 4 hours ago

Using DOGS to RAPE people is CLEARLY spelt out in the TORAH you ANTI SEMITE!

-The BBC!

[–] HrabiaVulpes@lemmy.world 9 points 4 hours ago

A sentence I neither expected to see nor wanted to.

Like unholy shit, what the hell is going on with those people?

[–] RymrgandsDaughter@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago

Can't say shit about Isreal even though they're fucked up like this

[–] Doorbook@lemmy.world 20 points 7 hours ago

Western "civilization" reaction to Israel and Russia are amazing. If this were Russian we will see these war crimes in every media 24h , while with Israel, you get arrested or questioned for denouncing the crimes.

No dude what the actual fuck

"Source I've never seen claims someone on Twitter heard something outrageous from an anonymous source"

Did this happen? Maybe. Is this upvoted solely because of people's pre-existing biases? Yup.

[–] FlyingCircus@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

Novara Media is a socialist news organization, so they definitely have a bias, but their informational reporting is no less credible than the BBC or Guardian. They have a decently large presence in the UK.

One source appears to be the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights. It says in the article.

[–] CanadaPlus@futurology.today 1 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

The analyst in "says analyst" was a guy on Twitter.

It is mentioned that PCHR recorded similar testimony from a Palestinian source later on.

Again, maybe, maybe not.

[–] crapwittyname@feddit.uk 2 points 40 minutes ago

"geopolitical expert" it says. Here's his Google scholar page. Seems legit. I mean I guess he is still "a guy on twitter", in that he has a Twitter account

Where did they get the information from?

Obscure self styled human rights organizations are often used to launder information and give it more credibility. This isn’t HRW, Amnesty, or B’Tselem. They aren’t perfect either, but more credible.

[–] crapwittyname@feddit.uk 1 points 1 hour ago

They got the information from someone who was raped by a dog. It says in the article.

Ragebait works on everyone. You just need to know what buttons to push.

What the dog doin'?

War crimes apparently, the type of man made horrors beyond most human's comprehension. I don't get how we have such a large delta with the horrors preformed by israel and the coverage of the nation in the west. Being called anti-Semitic for calling out using dog rape as a tool to torture prisoners seems a bit bizarre.

I was reticent to post this, given that it's based off of one person's hearsay. What tipped me over is that it is confirmation of stories also relayed by Palestinian prisoners in the fall of 2025 (linked in the article) about the goings on in the Sde Teiman torture camp.

Al-Jazeera by the way reports that the IDF soldiers who were at the center of a very public case of gruesome sexual abuse of prisoners in the same torture camp are returning to duty.

End the genocidal Israeli apartheid regime. Boycott Divest Sanction. Criminals at the Hague.

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 48 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Thank you for the context. It's important.

[–] AmidFuror@fedia.io 6 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Yes, someone who could not possibly have heard the Palestinian allegations has come forward to say they are true.

Of the two guards he spoke to, “one had seen this happen and said it was too awful to talk about. The other said that he had heard about it from others and believed it was true. This happened. This is happening still. The evidence is too overwhelming.”

I wouldn't call this overwhelming evidence. Could it have happened? Painfully, yes. Should an article have been published that guards have admitted this happens? Not on this evidence.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 1 points 2 hours ago

The rules of courtroom evidence cannot be the rules for journalism, or we would NEVER hear about atrocities like this.

[–] brownsugga@lemmy.world 20 points 1 day ago (1 children)

i think regardless of the veracity of the article, the fact that israel has a TORTURE CAMP is something that should be highlighted

[–] AmidFuror@fedia.io -4 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

I don't think that's the official name.

[–] theacharnian@lemmy.ca 5 points 23 hours ago

That would be funny.

[–] shiv@sh.itjust.works 14 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

Rooting for Israel to get nuked at this point.

[–] discocactus@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

That's the goal from the US evangelical point of view. Makes you think.

[–] Blursty@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

Rooting for us all to get nuked in the west tbh.

[–] Steve@startrek.website 29 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Israel should be disarmed.

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 5 points 20 hours ago

I feel sorry for the dogs. The IDF could add some chapters to their SS and NKVD manuals. Disgusting, sick and evil creatures.

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 17 points 1 day ago

Just disgusting.

[–] Tolc@lemmy.world 6 points 22 hours ago

They are holding biggest LGBT event or somethin in middle east in coming week ig so it makes it all good

[–] absolutetupperware@lemmy.today 11 points 1 day ago (2 children)

meanwhile Palestinians are forced into begging online for the means of survival, the bare minimum, that they should already be getting and they're being labeled scammers. we are all complicit in this.

[–] bestboyfriendintheworld@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

Scams are widespread, especially on social media.

There’s also a long tradition of smaller organizations collecting money for Palestinian children, and then the money is funneled to Hamas.

If you want to donate, great, but be careful where you send your money. There are legitimate aid organizations as well.

Cadus does fantastic work in Gaza, Ukraine, and elsewhere. They don’t have such a huge overhead of promoters and admin like other organizations.

[–] absolutetupperware@lemmy.today 6 points 22 hours ago

LOL the downvotes, if you think you don't have blood on your hands you're lying to yourself.
