I mean, i know its one of the hottest series, but but haven't seen any chat here about it.

After slogging through book 14 of HH (where, i can unfortunately report, there wasnt much in the way of witty action i loved from the earlier books) i moved onto something lighter, DCC.

Absolutely loving it. Its dumb, quick, and so much fun.

Would give it 10/10 in its genre, and a 6-7/10 overall.

I am a bit sad that the old cover design is not available in Europe (the wanted 50 € shipping so I ordered the new design for the latest book and now the series does not fit together)

Hiiii Zev!! Looking forward to the finale coming up, but am worried about timing, feels like Society for the Eradication of Cocker Spaniels is expecting to rush some of the loose ends.

Yes! It’s been such a fun series to read. LitRPG has similar themes of “just keep one-upping until the world starts to fall apart”, but the Carl books keep finding a way to get more absurd and exciting, even so many books in.

I read they were developing a show or movie. I’m cautiously optimistic they could do it justice.

Relistening to the audiobooks before the new one comes out May 12. Have gotten a good number of friends and coworkers into the series. This series kick-started my new book/audiobook hobby.
