They've put out a documentary about the making of this series. Everything looks the same as it did in the movies. They've just swapped out the actors. Mostly for worse.
Serve the generation with the disposable income their nostalgia slop. No artistic deviation - only purest nostalgia.
Even Square Enix uas taking more risks with the FFVII remakes.
