What is global news?

Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.

Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

President Donald Trump's signature will soon appear on all new US paper currency, the first time in history that a sitting president has signed American money, the Treasury Department announced Thursday. The move is just the latest example of Trump pushing his name and likeness on US institutions.

I imagine a lot of defaced currency in the future, allegedly. Maybe I'll keep a few pristine ones for when MAGA wants to buy them as collector items in 15 years. I already know they'll spend any amount of money on stupid shit like hats and stickers so I'm sure I could make decent amount. Only MAGA would be dumb enough to spend a hundred bucks on a ten dollar bill.

I can't tell if this stamp is pro or anti Trump

Pro-Trump.

A lot of people post pictures of the backs of $5 and $10 bills with "Trump Lives Here' stamped on the Lincoln Memorial and the US Treasury

Is that the same squiggle that looks like the pubic hair of an underage girl?

I'm going to use a blackout marker on it and then write "Epstein Files" above it on every one I find.

The narcissist really is intent of ensuring everybody knows of his shitstaining of history in the future, isn't he?

He'll certainly be remembered for a long time, but my hope is that he's best remembered for a lasting impact on James Buchanan's legacy.

Is this going to be the Epstein-birthday-card variant?

All jokes apart, Shitler-signed dollars may become valuable if America ever comes back to its senses so I’d get a few and hold onto them.

Anyone else here plan to refuse to receive such currency? Good thing I stopped using cash as much as possible a decade ago. I won't have this shit staining the interior of my wallet.
