Webber, 27, then allegedly shot Wells to death
Impossible ... he was unarmed!
Welcome to the News community!
Rules:
1. Be civil
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.
2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.
Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. 5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.
Webber, 27, then allegedly shot Wells to death
Impossible ... he was unarmed!
Heyoo! His defense was shaky; he didn’t have a leg to stand on and his legal team was stumped.
In any case, that may be a headline you never see again. I for one am proud to have been here to witness first-(second?) hand.
Thank you.
Jfc i love your endboss-level dad jokes
Only unforearmed.
You’ve got to “hand” it to him. That was no easy “feat”.
I have sooo many questions:
So there are three guys with all their arms and legs, but they let the guy with NO arms and legs drive the car?
How does he pull a gun with no arms? I understand that he still has forearms, there are videos of him shooting guns, but I have a hard time believing that this guy is a quick draw artist, and got the drop on his passenger that easily.
Didn't the dudes in the back try to stop him?
How did he get the dead guy out of his car? He asked the other dudes to do it, but they bailed and drove off, and the victim was found on a lawn somewhere. How did the killer get him out?
How does he play cornhole at such an elite level? I assume he's throwing the bean bags with his teeth.
Does he play any other sports? Pickleball? Dodgeball? Football (I'm not going to say it)?
No, he doesn't play basketball. Also, Bradrick Wells? That's a fake name for sure. Midsummer Murders much? And if he ain't real... Then this whole thing ain't real!
Having watched the video of him shooting a gun, this still makes no sense. My brain cannot wrap itself around how any of this works. I'm looking for cracks, any indication this is just some AI-fuel mass hallucination fever-dream, but I can't find it and that is somehow worse.
Yeah, I saw that and my first thought how the fuck you gonna let that man draw down on you? How did you not see it coming? Did he just sit there watching this guy fumble fingerless with a gun until he could get the safety off and pointed at him? Did he want to die?
Sorry for asking but... How?!? Next to a modified car so he could drive, he also has a modified gun? A mounted gun on his bonnet/roof with a joystick for his mouth to operate? Or a shoulder mounted gun with a remote trigger at his toe? I can see creative youtubers build a weird device like this, but I doubt he has the ability to pull CAT, 3D printing, CNC and constructing something like this himself. And then it's also weird to walk around like robocop, and especially while driving. Is he gogo gadget?
with a remote trigger at his toe?
Does a quad amputee have toes?
Oh shit, I thought he missed 3 limbs. I thought I read tripple, I misread quadruple. Daaaaayum
He was driving a car.
He shot a man.
While driving a car.
A fire...at a Sea Parks.
Jury nullification. We’re appalled but also impressed so we’re sending you back out to see what other zany hi-jinks you can get up to.

(It's actually horrible, but still...!)
Kinda makes you examine what you're doing with your own life while having all your limbs.
I would actually love to know more about the mechanics of all of this. Like how did he do all of this? What kind of prosthetics does he use? What kind of modifications did he make to his car to accommodate his abilities? Does he have some kind of custom gun grip to use a firearm at all?
It accused Webber of having shot Wells twice in the head.
A double-tap to the head while driving a car with no limbs.
A statement of charges filed in court and reported by WTTG said Webber knew his passengers from work.
I don't know what that guy does for work, but I bet that he's pretty good at it.
... How?
My guy didnt let adversity get in his way. This is the difference beween handicapped and handycapable.
handycapable

He even shot him before pulling over. Being handi-capable isn't enough for him, he's multitasking handi-capable
He's differently abled NOT disabled!!
But for real he probably has more drive than move 4 limbed people. I mean he was driving when he shot the passenger. That has got to take extra care and dedication for someone without arms and legs.
“Something I’ve been doing my whole life is overcoming things that people didn’t think I could,”
Following in pistorius foot steps hehe
That is quite the headline
I had to read it 3 times to figure out what the hell it meant. :p

I've been to LaPlata. Nothing in this article is surprising.
Calling Charles county part of "Suburban" Baltimore surprised me...also, which nub pulled the trigger‽
Maryland man. Not really insane and trashy like Florida or Ohio man, but you are left impressed, confused, and wondering why murder showed up
The name for the very common game "cornhole" has always made me laugh, since it's the common name. I love how there are some efforts to call it "bean bag toss". Yeah, nope, not really seeing much traction there. The only thing funnier to my inner 10 year old would be if there was a legit game called bum darts.
And yes, watching shows like "Blown Away" got plenty of chuckles when they keep referred to "the glory hole".
We always called it "bags"
In Canada cornhole means something completely different, and every time I see it mentioned on Lemmy it makes me have to stop and translate to American.
In the US, getting corn holed is receiving unlubricated anal penetration.
Netflix marketing for Knives Out is getting out of hand.
This somehow answers very few of my questions, and raises a lot more.
Not for nothing but La Plata is not part of suburban Baltimore...
I'm shocked that it's not Florida
