Pringles once had flavour? In comparison to other brands, even the home brands from the discounters, Pringles are boringly flavourless.

Idk what Pringles did to their formula... But I don't like them anymore.
The Lays equivalent is wayyyyyy better. Just less flavors to choose from.

I remember it like it was yesterday, the day that Pringles made the announcement.
There were riots in the streets, but ultimately they held no teeth, all noise and no action.
And so it has remained ever since
I never understood why people would pick pringles over other chips. The consistency is weird and it's just questionable stuff pressed into shape. It's the sausage of chips
Don't besmirch sausages like that!
Maybe it's the cheap mystery-meat sausage of chips.

Few years back, I noticed this too. They're, like, edible or whatever, but so bland tasting nowadays.
The bbq ones still got it. Only ones I buy now. Rest got super basic and bland.

Did you know fruits and vegetables grow out of the ground, surrounded by insects and varmint, who so happen to shit.
Ever see fly shit? Probably not, but it certainly adds up if untreated.
Well this was mainly just me fucking with the guy as a joke but if you read that article nah, they had rat shit and piss around human food and medicine.
Most places do not have that going on. And the FDA allows for a lot of wiggle room about bugs and stuff being in food I already know there can be maggots and all kinds of stuff legally in out food, at certain amounts.
But if even the FDA says its so bad it should be recalled man it was probably pretty bad because they aren't the best in the world with standards and I say that as someone who eats the food they say is ok.
And there's an acceptable amount of roaches that can be in peanut products, what's your point?
For sure and maggots in pasta sauce and all kinds of other fun stuff. You can't take stuff like that out completely in mass produced food.
Although, that was pretty bad for them to have issued a recall the FDA usually isn't too strict so it was probably pretty bad.
But I was just making a joke because you were like "damn why don't these taste the same" and its like, boom rat shit. I know it wasn't in the chips but it was just funny to me.
The day companies realized "hey, we're already so successful that we can just change up our recipes, still sell the same product and people will just buy on name value alone".
Unfortunately, it works because people are that dumb.

don't let 'em gaslight ya, in 2008 they did some rework on fat and salt, around 2010 they screwed with a lot of different flavors. They used to have a pretty heavy tomato+herb taste, but it's been quite a while.

The first time I had these was probably 1998 while I was at my obese cousins house for a sleep over and that’s all the food they allowed me to have because it was so gross that they didn’t even wanna eat it. Then I fell asleep on the floor and they left me there all night. Very weird memory tied directly to this horrible flavor 😂😭

when i was little i used to actually enjoy these dont think the flavor itself changed but i just find it less appealing now and kinda bland
