  1. Follow the aussie.zone rules
  2. We are not a generic World News clone. News must be relevant to Australians and our region. Obvious disregard will earn an warning and then a ban if continued. (If an article isn't from an Oceanian news outlet, and it doesn’t mention Australia, then it’s probably off-topic)

Bannon explained how he saw this equation during the president's first term, when he described the media as "dumb", "lazy" and incapable of having multiple focuses.

"All we have to do is flood the zone," he told PBS in 2019. "Every day we hit them with three things. They'll bite on one, and we'll get all of our stuff done. Bang, bang, bang."

I loathe to post about America but this does seem to line up, the attack on Iran almost feels like it was thought up overnight, he’s done it in the dumbest way possible

"If this type of fatigue sounds like a new normal, some experts..." -> Site engagement injection "Iran live war updates: For the latest on the middle east crisis click here.." ** Fark off Aunty! you are an embarrassment of what you once were, even your pandering is littered with the filth.

it's post-structuralism: there are no rules, just power and might, and if you're president, you can do whatever you want.

Speculation on my part, but I seems like Israel wanted to do a landgrab in Lebanon and told the US it's doing it.

The US wanting to distract from their president being a pedophile, went along with it at the last minute.

tbf Hezbollah firing thousands of rockets at Israel gives them every reason to do so

It wouldn't surprise me if America hopped on at the last minute to make it look like it's not being lead by Israel

I assume Bibi has Trump in his pocket

Hezbollah firing rockets gives Israel a reason for counter attacks, but NOT for more land grabbing, which is what it is doing.

Thousands? when? Is this since 7.10.23? or more recently? Can you provide a link please?

The Jerusalem Post is not known for giving unbiased reportage.

ah sorry

Hezbollah launched approximately 100 missiles and armed drones at northern Israel on Wednesday night in its most significant attack since re-entering the Iranian conflict, striking just hours after Israel announced it was repositioning thousands of soldiers to its northern frontier in preparation for a possible ground campaign.

Even Lebanon is sick of them:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Lebanon_war

On 2 March 2026, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned Hezbollah's rocket and drone strikes from southern Lebanon, calling them irresponsible acts outside the authority of the Lebanese state that endanger national security. While he emphasized that all military action must fall under the government's control, he has not formally declared Hezbollah outlawed, focusing instead on preventing unauthorized armed operations.[114][115]

You have to wonder how dumb Hezbollah are poking the bear while it has an American president who just loves to go to war and show how tough they are
