I work a very strange rotating schedule so breakfast, lunch and dinner aren't really a thing for me. That said, I treat the final meal of the day as my most important and largest.

Lunch most important nutritionally, supper most important socially. I always cook supper at home for the family, but try to get more of my calories earlier in the day as that feels best.

Lunch. Because it's the only meal where I can cook whatever I want, because I'm the only one eating it. Sometimes it's steak, sometimes it's a wedge of blue cheese.

Lunch. That's the meal I leave work for.

breakfast, if i don't have a good breakfast i might as well be considered a zombie

i have some blood sugar thing that makes it so my cells make a crazy amount of insulin, so if i don't eat for 6h+ i'm basically all out of sugar

I eat breakfast consistently, usually some form of rice porrige and various veggies. Lunch is my most skipped meal, but I forget to eat dinner sometimes too lol

If I'm lucky I made rice for dinner and have left over to stir fry the next morning

Some variation of Bolognese gets made twice a week around these parts...

Love me a good bolegnese I've been trying to stay away from pasta though. Last time I made it I ate it over crispy baked cubed up potatoes.

Sounds awesome - yeah my waistline wouldn't mind a little pasta reduction lol

Mayyybe dinner, but only by a little bit

I used to cook the same meal for breakfast/dinner and skip lunch for several years... These days I simplified my breakfast routine and still don't each lunch most of the days, so dinner is by definition the most important, although breakfast is my most consistent one (I sometimes go for a big lunch and skip dinner instead)

My breakfast spot makes my bacon egg and cheese on a toasted black everything bagel every day

[–] Chippys_mittens@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago

Sounds delicious

Breakfast is most consistent both in terms of not being skipped and being approximately the same nutrients.

Dinner sometimes breaks up into two small snacks spaced apart, but is never really skipped.

Lunch is often minimal, varies in when it happens, kinda wish I didn’t even need it!

Not needing middle of the day food would be wonderful.

Midnight snack, preferably potato chips. Without them, my mental health would go... Places...

But when I need to act normal, I guess lunch. I rarely need breakfast and dinner is overrated. A quiet, solemn salad for lunch. Possibly grilled corn mixed with mayo, feta cheese, broccoli, onions and cabbage. Mmm.

[–] Chippys_mittens@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago

Thats an interesting sounding salad damn.

I have a very consistent schedule so I think every meal is very important for me.

[–] Chippys_mittens@lemmy.world 1 points 6 hours ago

Thats reasonable

[–] Onomatopoeia@lemmy.cafe 1 points 8 hours ago

All of them?
