Super large tortillas filled with stir fried onions and carrots, sour cream, cheddar and pepper sauce.

Thought about opening a can of beans but decided against it.

Cost per person $2

Mine would have: Chicken, cheese, black olives.

Salsa dip cup on the side.

The wife wanted brie, grape, pears, candied walnuts and balsamic raspberry sauce. But that wasn't in the budget

Pairs? Pairs of what? Bananas? In pajamas?

Because they're coming down the stairs. Bananas, in pajamas, are coming down in pairs!

Boooo! Now my comment makes no sense! I just seem like a crazy man! Ya hear me? A lunatic is how I'm being percieved!

Most of the time I leave the typos so that replies about them make sense. But today I decided to go for blood and make the correction.

Insides sound delicious but them tortillas could use a bit more of a grill IMO

Because of the size I couldn't put them in a pan without replacing a broken burner and reseason my largest cast iron pan. So I opted to bake them on a pizza pan instead. Could they have been about 10% tastier? Yes. But at the same time I didn't have to do any cleanup because I put parchment paper down between them and the pizza pan. Didn't even need to flip them. Was it ideal? No. But neither is a broken burner.

You did remarkably well, especially with a broken burner!

Stir fried until soft. Trey adds the tiniest amount of texture and a good flavor that went well with the pepper sauce.

yeah fair enough.. I just couldnt see it in a ques.. cheese onions and chick for me is a go

[–] Ioughttamow@fedia.io 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I do find grated cooked carrot can be snuck into plenty of stuff

[–] sauerkrautsaul@lemmus.org 2 points 1 week ago

I think im just sensitive to whatever makes cooked carrots taste the way they taste when theyre cooked.. I can eat em raw all day, but I find them gross when theyre all soft and no

What is pepper sauce?

Either way, looks good. I'd eat it.

[–] FauxPseudo@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Like Tabasco, Tapatío, Cholula, Valentina, Sriracha.

[–] MakingWork@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I know 2/5 is those! So a little zing to them. Delicious!

[–] FauxPseudo@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

When something has this much fat a little acid helps brighten it up and the sour cream wasn't going to be enough for the four ounces of cheese in there.

[–] MakingWork@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

You're the boss. It sounds good.
