Remake culture sucks. I want artists in art, not bankers. Bankers are offensive, including banker dictated diversity. I want diverse artists. That is where the real whitewashing issue lies. It is not about the color of an old character, it is that there are no new and diverse stories that make the past the past and the present the NEW better. Fire manes are a minority too, and they matter. The real atrocity is the fact that an epic new character was not forged. Dwelling in the past is to be buried with it.
