The game is free right now so you can install it via Aurora Store, however for me it is stuck loading and won't start

From my tests around with DRM, Kairosoft's titles seem heavily baked with such. So if you don't have whatever validation method they expect (likely Google Play Services?), it won't start.

If you go to the About page and scroll down to app permissions , the link shows a line saying it requires a Google play licence check.

DRM on Google is rather inconsistent. Previously even found games that allegedly required Google Play Services but that would open just fine on a vanilla phone without MicroG and on airplane mode.
