No. Another public demonstration of a dictator's contempt for the Constitution. He fucking knows. Don't let anyone pretend he's merely ignorant and not deliberately evil.
The guy doesn't even know how to read. I think he's ignorant and rock stupid but has a number of smarter people telling him what to do and think
I don't fucking care. It is dangerous to underestimate him (or his handlers, or whatever -- doesn't matter!).
What matters is that he doesn't have to be smart or literate to have his brownshirts murder you, so it's way past time to quit treating him like a goddamn joke!

I challenge the apathy part. There is a lot of apathy, no doubt. But, I think most who are seen as apathetic are just weak, selfish, and lack foresight. They would prefer a different situation, but not at the cost of their own pain.

I sometimes want to see that too, but then I remind myself, narcissistic sociopath abusers will never be capable of sticking to any standards that do not get them what they want.
Their brains will not only dynamically remake their own reality to make them always have been right, but they will demand the entire world change their fundamental reality so the abuser is right, rather than infinitesimally change themselves in response to being wrong. Any "admission" we get is just helping us delude ourselves that they have the capacity to admit fault.

If the US does not get to have free and fair elections then those guys are so descending into civil war.

Media companies need to point this out in their headlines. They are misleading people into thinking his opinions matters.

Any idea how polling protection groups will work this time around? I'm not really sure what it means to nationalize voting, nor the extent of what it means to have ICE outside of polling locations.
Edit: I'm looking into joining up with a group to protect the polls this midterm.
It's a whole helluva lot harder to oppress armed people in large groups.
I'd suggest looking for a local Mutual Aid group, if you have one near you. They're the most likely places to find people wanting to join you in that endeavor. If you can't find anything like that, try a local DSA chapter.
Perhaps a local SRA chapter would be interested in that too?
