It’s almost midnight here in Mumbai, and I’m having a small serving of chia seed pudding. I always keep some prepped in the fridge.

Peanut butter filled pretzel bites. I'm addicted.

Usually something savory, followed by something sweet to contrast the savory snack, but then something savory again, and then sweet again. My snacking habits require great levels of impulse control lol so in reality I mostly don't snack much.

Corn flakes with milk and a ton of sugar. Not because it's my favourite per-se but when I go raiding the cupoards at night it tends to be the only thing I can come up with.

Cup of warm whole milk. Reminds me of my grandmother.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 1 points 6 hours ago

Carrots with a little ranch and mustard for dipping.

[–] ace_garp@lemmy.world 1 points 9 hours ago

Murukku, Bhuja, or popcorn.

A bowl of cereal, but I usually pay for the late night milk consumption the next morning

[–] nocturnal_Indian@lemmy.world 7 points 20 hours ago

I use unsweetened almond milk as a substitute.

[–] ElJefe@lemmy.ca 4 points 19 hours ago

Hell yeah. I have found my people.

Popcorn.

I use refined coconut oil, kernels, and flavacol. That's it. Tastes pretty much exactly like movie theatre popcorn because it's the same ingredients they use.

[–] khannie@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago

Flavacol gang! Such a game changer.

Goes great combined with mettwurst.

[–] B0NK3RS@lemmy.world 5 points 20 hours ago

Yes to pickles and olives too if I have them.

[–] slothrop@lemmy.ca 9 points 20 hours ago

Peanut butter on toast.

[–] sparkles@piefed.zip 8 points 20 hours ago

Cheese flavored things, and pickles

[–] WhatsHerBucket@lemmy.world 7 points 20 hours ago

It’s Sunday morning and I have no plans and no responsibilities until tomorrow. So far it’s been a wake and bake kind of day. I’m hoping the rest of the day is just as relaxing.

[–] aemilrex@piefed.social 2 points 17 hours ago

Two corn crackers with hummus.

[–] spittingimage@lemmy.world 2 points 18 hours ago

A handful of blueberries is always good, during the season.

[–] serpineslair@lemmy.world 3 points 20 hours ago

Cheese, crackers, salted peanuts, pretzels, crisps, beer, milk, biscuits. Hot chocolate if I'm in that mood.

[–] MuttMutt@lemmy.world 1 points 16 hours ago

Popcorn with M&M's.

I can't believe that no-one has posted this incredibly useful and relevant video yet:

Onigri or a melona bar

[–] glups@piefed.social 2 points 20 hours ago

Hear me out, pretzel sticks, cream cheese, and dried cranberries. There's something that happens with the fat in the cream cheese, the salt on the pretzels, and the sweet and acidity of the cranberries that make it delicious

[–] WolfmanEightySix@piefed.social 2 points 20 hours ago

Toast. Although I cant remember the last time I had a late night snack... Im usually getting up for a glass of orange squash.

[–] Broadfern@lemmy.world 2 points 20 hours ago

Personally, grapes or chips and sour cream. Chicken salad in a bowl if I’m really hungry.

Chia seed pudding is delicious though and always a good bet.

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 2 points 20 hours ago

Wasabi peas, sardines in chilli oil, cheesy toast with basil and tomato.

[–] UncleArthur@lemmy.world 1 points 20 hours ago

Deep fried broad beans and chilli corn.
