Not specifically baby name, but I went to high school with a guy whose last name was Bohnert (pronounced like boner). Guess what his nickname was.

It was funny whenever we had a substitute teacher and they would do roll call:

"...Bahnert?"

"It's boner"

Unless you clean your bathroom(s) at home daily, I got news for you...

I've been looking at Tactical Breach Wizards for a while. Merry Christmas!

I lived with family until I was 29. Around that time, I got a new position at work that roughly doubled my salary, so after saving for a few months, I was able to move out and get an apartment.

Never. You're an adult and can do as you please. Also, Lego is very much an adult thing as much as it is for kids. They make plenty of sets now that adults would probably enjoy much more than kids, like the Botanical and Icons.

Not sure how I feel about the Mechwarrior 2 graphics nowadays, but gameplay looks solid.

The only time I see Padoru is memes about how common she is this time of year. At least it's better than that Mariah Carey song.

I got tired of working crappy jobs for >$10/hr, so I went and got a 2 year degree in IT. A few months after graduation, I got a job in my chosen field, and a couple years after that, I landed a position specifically related to my degree. While a college degree isn't necessary in every job/field, in my case, it's been the wisest decision and had the most profound impact in my life so far.

It was supposed to be that way on Reddit too, but everyone just treated them like like/dislike buttons instead.

Work on some professional development. Find a class or course to go through (preferably on the company dime) during the downtime. See if your company will pay for or reimburse some additional training.

Give it time. You can also look up videos or discussions online to help process it.

Yeah, agree on the mixed bag of redesigns. I think my favorites are this and the Gyan (really don't like the original Gyan design).

Nothing too fancy with this one, just panel lining, G-Rework decals, and matte topcoat.

This is a special edition of MG Freedom 2.0 with Cross Contrast and clear colors. It also came with unique water slide decals and a clear Action Base 1 instead of the crappy stand that other MG Seed kits get. I panel lined with silver enamel paint and sprayed matte topcoat to give the clear parts a frosty look.

Now that I'm done with model shows for a while, I've shifted gears and decided to work on some girlpla for a while. This one is mostly a straight build, with a bit of panel lining, some decals, and matte topcoat. Overall, it's a good build, and great value for what comes in the box, including 2 full models and lots of accessories, not to mention pre-painted and detailed pieces.

✨THE GUNDAM BASE CHICAGO IS COMING WINTER 2025 ✨

"THE GUNDAM BASE" launches its first permanent North American location at Fashion Outlets of Chicago!

Stay tuned for more information.

Great news for builders in the USA. This will be the first permanent Gundam Base stateside. Even if you don't live near Chicago, it's still closer than Japan.

I played with lighting a bit to see if I could get it to glow more.

How's it going? What are you building? What are your thoughts on it? Any issues? Any kits you have your eye on?

Inspired by the P-Bandai iron-blooded coating kits, I decided I could make my own and do it better. I used the ZeroPlan Wolf Claw kit as well.
