And supposedly, they were denied a request for help by Minneapolis police and told to get their own help. I kind of doubt the story is true, I'm too far from the 'Cities to know. But, it would make that finger even more delicious if it was.
Next time swallow the finger, so there is no chance to reattach.

Feed them to your cats instead.
