Maybe if the rules for donating blood weren't as mindbogglingly strict as they are, they would get more donations. If you ever had basically any condition regarding your heart they will not accept you as a donor, ever. No matter what you cardiologist says, no matter your current medical state.

But I was told that in case of war the rules would be loosened and I could donate then. This was said to me in a completely serious tone. 🤷
