wow what a throwback. i still remember getting a tip published in lockergnome in the early 2000s that explained how to play real media files without having their shitty software installed.
Remember all the weird audio visuals it had?
I was so happy when I finally found out about VLC, haha
Proof that proprietary software solutions are but passing ships on night.
It solved a problem, while creating a whole bunch of other problems.
