God she just embodies let perfect be the enemy of good. Any time something good happens she has to ruin it by saying it should be perfect instead. Well yeah it should, but can't we have something good in the meantime?
The protest comes as Sawant has targeted the congressional seat of District 9’s Adam Smith.

She isn't even that. She is almost certainly an agent provocateur that gets money from people that want to cripple opposition to the right wing. She literally campaigned to help get Trump elected.

I really hope the anti-ICE protestors spend a little more time on their messaging tactics. Unbridled rage isn't convincing. Staring down at the speech you've written on your phone isn't a good look either. Think about what you're there to accomplish -- talk to and convince the council. It's not a rally.
And for fuck's sake, keep a lid on the over-agitated folks who can't maintain decorum. They are doing your cause more harm than good.
