I really loved the DK64randomizer.com run, big randomizer and Spike Vegeta fan.

The 70 star 70 person relay in SM64 was absolutely bonkers.

Awful block always provides something that I love, in this case That's a Cow. I'll be picking that up for sure

I quite liked Lylat Wars and had a surprisingly good time with Lies of P, considering I'm not interested in souls-like games.

The highlight for me was the SM64 relay but other than that very little jumped out to me/us (my wife is an avid fan of GDQ too). Love the event but it didn't seem to have anything much for us (like a Mario Maker relay race, rhythm games, that mad Crazy Taxi run with the live band, Spike Vegeta running DKC:R, etc.).

Guess we'll see what SGDQ has to offer!

Check out the American Truck Simulator race. It was definitely the highlight of the week for me.

Big Spike Vegeta fan and a fan of DK64, but I found the randomizer too hard to follow. It didn't help that since it was a race they had moments of "I can't say anything to give the other player an advantage". Even the commentary said that it was difficult to follow.

It was ok, but just ok for that reason.

Yeah, that run was for the like limited people that know DK64rabdomizer quite well i think. I play a lot of it, so that was sick to me, but it seemed super hard to follow for everyone else including my partner who rarely has a problem following a randomizer.

I see why they have to play same seed but also it's tough to not be vocal on stage about what's going on

Yeah they should've had noise cancelling headphones and white noise generators for the racers, similar to StarCraft tournaments

Or just do a solo run and save the randomizer races for actual tournaments where the viewers are more familiar and the commentators can speak freely

dlroW oiraM repuS - tixE 69, was probably favorite just because I got to see one of my favorite game in a whole new way. I'll definitely be trying it out at some point.

I actually missed that one and get to go back to it, probably today. I'm guessing it's backwards, not mirrored?

Yeah, you have to run to the left which is super weird to see.

I'm shocked that Jazzpunk has no relation to Gravity Bone.

American Truck Simulator - "is this yuri?"
