I am just from small shitty european country, but I think thats the main point, you need to vote for third, fourth hell even fifth party, because the binary selection is exactly the culprit. We have government consisted of 6 parties, that brings you closer to freedom. In US you are choosing from bad or even worse.
It’s also completely disingenuous. Every country needs customs and immigration enforcement. Just from a perspective of preventing transmission of plants and animals that do not belong in other countries. So yeah if travel increases then the budget for things travel related will increase as well.
