I’m finishing my chronological rewatch I’ve been doing this year this week!
That's a lot of Trek in one year!!!
It’s been a long road…getting from there to here. It’s been a longtime, but my time is finally near.
I stuck through all of TAS, even added the Orville. And I even watched that Kelvin stuff and the kiddie Scouts…oh my.
Not including TAS is illogical
But does include The Orville, lol.
TOS: "Mr. Spock, it seems that this species doesn't understand free will."
TNG: "Are you saying we never left the Holodeck?"
DS9: "Captain Sisko, it looks like the interference from the doohickey and the sigma waves caused another time paradox... Here we go again!"
VOY: "This is a version of the continuum that your kind can understand."
SNW: "We have to abide by their legal proceedings."
Featuring such hits as:
You need the “I’m attracted to my car” episode
That vaguely covers about 1/9 or 1/8 of Star Trek episodes.
And that’s a lot
How about “I’m unwittingly into bdsm and don’t understand these feelings”
Off the top of my head, maybe four or five episodes. Not a lot, but it’s definitely there. Star Trek writers were very good with visual and literary metaphor.

I never got the hate for that episode. It had a classic Trek feel to it.
I was scrolling “new” and upvoted this not seeing what it was in response to, feeling pretty confident it was the right call. Now that I’ve checked, turns out I was right.
I agree. But I also can see why people would hate it.

I'm only at season 6 of TNG.. I had planned for years of entertainment and now I don't know where to continue watching

Wait, are the classic series NOT on Paramount’s own service?
At least in the US, they’re all on there.
But then again, people might not want to support Paramount because of their collaboration with Gul Donal. Currently, my parents pay for it, so I used it, but they seem open to the idea of collecting physical media releases and may eventually jump ship because we mostly just watch Trek on it.
Of course, I think the best way to do physical media is to buy used through local businesses rather than directly pay some crappy executives. Last I checked, I think I’ve seen up to LD season 4 on shelves.
