Ah, but the corporate moneybags at the top want lots of babies born to turn into more grist for the neoliberal mill. This will cause some serious ruffles unless it offsets the birth rate drop off in western countries.
Probably because if you have a job that lets you wfh you are making enough money to have kids.
That and childcare is cheaper if you're home and able to take care of the kids at least to some degree while working.
That and you prob have more energy and time to go date and find a partner, sort of "alone all day want to go out at night" vs "around people all day just wanna get home to cats."
That and you can get paid to make that baby, which is always fun. (More of a joke, but it's also true.)
When people don't spend 2 hours a day in a car they have more energy and time for sex.
