Supercharged sight and hearing has gotta have a profound effect on what one considers personal space. 🤔

If you find an injured owl:
Note your exact location so the owl can be released back where it came from. Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist to get correct advice and immediate assistance.
Minimize stress for the owl. If you can catch it, toss a towel or sweater over it and get it in a cardboard box or pet carrier. It should have room to be comfortable but not so much it can panic and injure itself. If you can’t catch it, keep people and animals away until help can come.
Do not give food or water! If you feed them the wrong thing or give them water improperly, you can accidentally kill them. It can also cause problems if they require anesthesia once help arrives, complicating procedures and costing valuable time.
If it is a baby owl, and it looks safe and uninjured, leave it be. Time on the ground is part of their growing up. They can fly to some extent and climb trees. If animals or people are nearby, put it up on a branch so it’s safe. If it’s injured, follow the above advice.

or bad sight. i'm farsighted. my eyes start to focus 20 feet away without corrective lenses. guess where my personal space starts?
Its a blessing and a curse surely
ohhh there's two of them, I really had a hard time understanding even with your comment
Yup, you got it now. Most owls are solitary and territorial animals. As predators, their food supply is often limited, so they don't like sharing. Any other owl is just competition for limited resources, so even in a place that looks infinitely spacious to us, it's too close in this most likely female Snowy Owl's opinion.
That's a very pretty landscape!
I think I know exactly where it's depicting; the Tombstone range viewpoint on the Dempster highway in the Yukon.
Here's a pic I took from the same spot

Oh, Tamriel.
Good eye, sniper! I suppose it's possible the artist was just painting off the cuff, but your photo is a very compelling argument for their inspiration.
Scientifically accurate
Sowlitude 😉
I've never been anywhere I would potentially be outside of reasonable walking distance away from another human being, but I bet it would feel a bit like being in the middle of the ocean (somewhere I have been; but with other people on the boat).
