Downvote me all you want, but confuses me the hell when communists (both MLs and an anarchists) have iPhones.

I mean you're supposed to support a classless society, yet you spend 1000 on an useless locked down device that lacks basic functionality and is nothing but a status symbol for the wealthy to brag how they own a product from this particular brand.

As an anecdote, I know a communist who has a Ché-Guevara wallpaper on his iPhone, I find it hilarious.

I completely agree, if you're communist you should support mass consumerism. I'm just pointing out that iPhones aren't "exclusive" to capitalism.

Without capitalism we wouldn't have iPhones. Because before capitalism, nothing ever was invented.

How was capitalism invented? Only a communist would ask such a thing.
