...The self-proclaimed Red Blooded American, anti-Woke and anti-"Soy Boy" crowd is against eating beef now?
Real bunch of freethinkers, those lads.
Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.
Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.
What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.

huh why am I suddenly in the mood for some freshly squozen brain juice with no pulp.
They're saying the other side is waging a "war on meat", the post title is shortened in a less than ideal way. I was confused too because it seems conservatives, in most "Western" countries at least, wouldn't be in favour of anything meat-free so the notion of US conservatives, of all people, being against meat is a wild one.
Eat more legumes people! If you prefer low effort, eat lentils, they don't need to be soaked.
Or get a pressure cooker and never have to soak beans again!
Im pretty sure the soaking also improves digestibility.
