Explanation:

Fortran is a programming language. 4tran refers to a subreddit/community on Reddit that is full of self hating trans people.

I'm a trans guy who took an intro programming class in Fortran.

It's significantly less awful than JavaScript.

As someone unfortunate enough to have worked on fortran code from a legacy codebase, just turn around and go home those two paths are equally terrible

Idk, I havent used it and have no Intent to change this in the future. The German wikipedia article says, that the goal was, that Fortran would be as fast as assembly which says enough about what level of pain using it probably is.
