This is a community to share food pics, food ideas and questions. Basically anything to do with food. Every day there will be a post called Tucker Time for you to share pics or descriptions of your evening meal.

There's only 2 rules that I can think of right now
Rule 1: Don't ridicule
Rule 2: Don't be an arsehole

If you can think of anything else let me know. Cheers.

Oreos, because they're iron rich and I need iron so the Red Cross will let me trade my corpuscles for a t shirt

Thank you. I'm not Italian, but I play one in my kitchen.

It'll be butter chicken tonight again. Tastes good, added some extra passata we had left over from home made pizzas on the weekend.

Last nights dinner went well, the kids ate enough of theirs, and no more mishaps from me!

Ps: whats up with the downvote today? Someones feeling strongly about dinner! Must be the brunch brigade.

Hahaha I thought that too. Who doesn't like food? Anyway I found people are reluctant to upvote like they're paying $$$ for it but have no qualms about a downvote.

I think you can find out who downvotes but I'm not that technically advanced nor do I really care.

Maybe a downvote is more often an emotional decision while an upvote is more often an objective consideration?

You can, its easy to find in the moderator tool list next to a post. I've used it to look at some c/Perth/WesternAustralia posts when i wondered how many different users upvoted each post. Turned out its quite a different mix of people for each post, regulars that I expected, but also many usernames that i'd never come across on AZ or lemmy before. It was an interesting exercise.

Interesting. It was someone from lemmy world.

Ah, pffft, those lemmy worlders are all brunch-o-philes!

Watermelon, smoked salmon, boiled eggs, olives, dips & biscuits and whatever else I can find.

I somehow have a heap of masala sauce leftover, so I'll use half of that and chuck some salmon and vegies in a pan for tonight with some rice.

And tomorrow I'll use the other half with some chicken vegies and rice

I'm a simple bloke 😁

Will you eat that in front of the telly, watching the cricket and enjoying a beer?

[–] No1@aussie.zone 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Well, I have to, now that you've said it! 🍻
